                   Southern Appalachian Highland Peaks Backpacking Trip
 
                                               
July 31-August 2, 2009

Troop 31 will conduct a high-adventure, high-altitude mountain backpacking trip this summer.   It will be designed to test your wilderness survival skills and fitness.   Group size will be limited according to route and space availability.

Requirements:
* First Class or higher rank, at least 11 years old;
* Interested in advanced backpacking;
* Must complete T31 training requirements (including at least 5 progressively difficult training hikes);
* Must be physically fit for backpacking over 20 miles; and,
* Must be enthusiastic for high-altitude climbing, and ready to HAVE FUN!!
