Boxwell

Make plans to attend Boxwell Summer Camp 2012
Signups will begin in March 2012

What is Boxwell?
Boxwell Reservation is a 1,300-acre camping and high adventure complex on the shores of Old Hickory Lake near Lebanon, TN.

    • The reservation boasts an aquatics program that includes the beaches of the lake, a boating harbor and a 4,000-square-foot swimming pool complex.
       

Where will my son stay? What will he do?
The scouts will camp in tents on raised wooden platforms and sleep on cots with foam mattresses (2 scouts per tent)

    • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided in a large air-conditioned dining hall.
    • One of the bathhouses is located next to Troop 31’s campsite.
    • Merit Badge classes are scheduled from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. every day.
    • Free-time activities are supervised by our troop volunteers and/or the staff at Camp Boxwell.
    • The cost in 2011 was $195 and will be determined by sign-up.
       

Why would he want to go to Boxwell?
Your son gets to camp out for a whole week and do lots of cool stuff!

    • He will get to hang out with his old friends and make new friends who share his interest in Scouting.
    • Boxwell is a great place to earn several merit badges in just one week.
    • A scout can learn, grown and have a great time at Boxwell!
