Breakfast Oatmeal Surprise


(Makes 3 Cups)

Ingredients:

2 cups Quick Cooking Oats (uncooked)
1/2 cup Chopped Dates or Chopped Apple
1/3 cup Chopped Pecans
1/2 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup Instant Nonfat Dry Milk

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy duty ziplock plastic bag.
  2. Pour boiling water over desired amount of mixture.
  3. Stir and let stand a few minutes.
  4. For thinner oatmeal, add more water; to thicken, add more oatmeal mix.
