Dad’s Gumbo
(Serves 2)
Ingredients:
1/2 package Lipton Vegetable Soup Mix 1 cup Long Grain & Wild Rice 4 teaspoons of Seasoning Mix from Rice Package 1 pound Basic Ground Beef Mix (see Miscellaneous Recipes)
1 can Mixed Vegetables; Dried
Directions:
Prepare dried foot (ground beef and vegetables) prior to campout.
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
Add soup mix, wild rice, and vegetables.
Bring to a simmer and add ground beef.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Serve.
