NOTES:
- Start off cold! Fewer layers. You are not running a marathon and but will sweat during the hike in.
Once you reach the campsite, your sweaty shirt will make you cold so take it off! I wore a long-sleeve cotton shirt when
hiking in then changed into my synthetic long underwear shirt once at the
campsite.
- You will need to change out of your sweaty Saturday clothes on Saturday night to sleep in something clean
and dry. Use those same “sleeping” clothes on Sunday for the walk out.
- Pack clothes in plastic bags, zip locks, etc. Your backpack is NOT waterproof!!
- Bring boots into the tent at night!
- Stay well hydrated and eat a large, warm meal on Saturday night which will keep you warm and help you
sleep on Saturday night.
