(Makes about 9 bars; good backpacking snack or lunch)
Ingredients:
2 cups Nuts 1 cup Dates, Pitted Prunes, Raisins or Dried Apricots 2 Eggs, Beaten 1/3 cup Honey
Directions:
- Grind nuts and fruit.
- Blend with eggs and honey.
- Place in an oiled 9x9 inch pan.
- Bake until firm -- about 20 minutes.
- Cool.
- When cool, cut into 3 inch squares.
- Wrap each bar in plastic wrap and store in a self-sealing plastic bag.
