Preface to the First Edition
The original idea for this book grew from the many wonderful meals I have enjoyed over the last 4 years as an assistant scoutmaster in the Middle
Tennessee Council. Camp Cooking is a compilation of recipes from both scouts and scouters of Troop 31. I hope it will provide ideas and a tasty meal for both the novice and those more experienced. Share the book with other scouts and scouters. Add to the book as new recipes are discovered. Your comments are welcome. It is my hope that more editions will be forthcoming over the years. Many thanks to all those who contributed.
