Troop 31 Scouts and Adults:
Spring Celebration is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2009 through Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Camp Light on Boxwell
Reservation. The deadline to sign up for Spring Celebration is Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 12:00 noon. No Exceptions.
Mr. Hileman has assembled an exciting weekend of activities
(rifle shooting, canoeing, potato cannons) with a conservation project to meet the requirements of the Camping Merit Badge (mandatory for all Scouts attending Spring Celebration). Families may join us for dinner
on Saturday evening. Adults are also welcome to camp with us this weekend and join in the festivities.
If you are attending Spring Celebration, please send an email to
PCASEY@BASSBERRY.COM and provide me with the following information (note the deadline of 04/22/2009 at 12:00 noon):
1. Scout Name
2. Scout -- Meals -- I need to know which meals you will be eating -- Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner; Sunday Breakfast. You must tell me specifically. Do not make me guess.
3. Adults -- If you are camping with the Troop during Spring Celebration -- I need to know which meals you will be eating -- Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner; Sunday Breakfast. You must
tell me specifically. Do not make me guess. 4. Families -- If you are planning to come out just for Saturday Dinner -- I need to know the number attending for dinner.
Fees:
$40.00 per Scout -- This covers all meals and equipment fees for the weekend $20.00 per Family -- For those families attending Saturday Dinner Only
$20.00 per Adult -- For those adults camping with the Troop for the weekend, this covers all meals
All Fees must be paid prior to departing for Boxwell on April 24, 2009.

7:00 pm – Dinner (Each Scout/parent should bring their own sack dinner)
7:30 pm – Scoutmaster Conferences
10:00 pm – Lights Out

12:00 pm – Arrive EYC House; Unload Troop Trailer; Take Attendance
Reminders: -- Scouts are responsible for the following meal: - Friday – Dinner (bring a sack dinner; no cooking)
- The Troop is responsible for the following meals (All Scouts will assist in cooking)
Saturday – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Sunday – Breakfast
- Remember to dress appropriately – it may be warm during the day and cool at night
- Bring a water bottle!
- Remember to bring your camping equipment – tent; sleeping bag; sleeping pad; flashlight; etc.
- Bring rain gear; sunscreen
- Spray your clothes with Repel prior to the campout; bring bug spray.

Scouts are not permitted to bring electronics on the campout – no I-Pods, no cell phones. The Troop is not responsible for the loss or damage of these electronics.
